The Two Fatalities Identified in the Ivy League School Incident as Police Persist in Manhunt for Perpetrator.

The pair of scholars who lost their lives in Saturday’s tragic incident in Providence had tributes paid to them on Monday – amid a widespread hunt for their assailant persisted following the discharge by local law enforcement of the sole person questioned in the case.

Honoring a Lost Student

The young woman Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama, was remembered as “an amazing, stable, pious, radiant soul”, as stated by the Birmingham's Cathedral Church of the Advent, which offered condolences for her at a gathering on Sunday.

Her role included vice-president of Brown’s division of College Republicans of America, according to the organization. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also expressed condolences publicly, remarking: “There are no words. Keeping in mind her loved ones and companions, above all her mom and dad.”

An International Student

The other deceased individual was MukhammadAziz Umurzokov from Uzbekistan, a citizen of Uzbekistan in his first year of studies at the renowned school, family members said.

The victim's identification was officially acknowledged by Uzbekistan’s foreign ministry.

“He was incredibly kind, funny, and smart. He had big dreams of pursuing a career in neurosurgery and assisting patients,” Samira Umurzokova, his sister said in a tribute.

Details of the Attack

Nine more persons were hurt in the weekend shooting in the engineering department of Brown’s grounds in Providence, during the institution's end-of-term tests.

Law enforcement reported by the end of Sunday that a man aged 24 arrested in a police operation at a Hampton Inn about approximately 17 miles from the university earlier in the day was being released.

“We have a murderer out there,” said Peter Neronha, Peter Neronha.

He added, “Investigations can lead one way, and then you need to change course and pursue a different angle, and that is the current situation over the last day or so.”

Public Fear
